What to do in the neighbourhood?
The village Nový Drahov is a historical reserve since 1995 for its untypical rural architecture and frame houses.
Natural national reserve SOOS is located near to Nový Drahov (in another small village Hájek-Kateřina). In the reservation you can find unique nature walking trail, peat bog, low moor, mud volcanoes and healing springs.
Another popular attraction is the Butterfly farm with living butterflies (near the Žírovice village). A newly reconstructed, originally roman Wildstein castle is located in near village Skalná.
The most popular touristic goal in the neighbourhood is of course the spa city Františkovy Lázně (5.000 citizens) with all its healing springs, parks, colonnades, coffeehouses, wine bars, museum, aquapark etc.
We recommend to visit also the Seeberg castle near to Františkovy Lázně, where you can find expositions of old furniture, porcelain and rural-people life.
You can also visit the nearby historical city Cheb (35.000 citizens).
